friends & supporters
At the heart and soul of Aviva Family and Children’s Services is a community of people who support our efforts in so many ways.
Among our friends and supporters are two extraordinary auxiliary groups that are dedicated to raising funds for Aviva and enriching the lives of our young clients. These dedicated women generously contribute their own time and resources to plan major fundraising events, and sponsor activities throughout the year. The Platinum Associates and the Sterling Associates always welcome new members who are committed to the mission of assisting Aviva’s at-risk youth.
Our community supporters include many organizations, associations, and businesses that donate funds and other resources to assist Aviva from year to year. While Aviva receives government funding for much of the direct services we give our clients, it is never enough to meet the standards of excellence we strive to deliver each day. We must rely on friends and supporters to fill this gap. Whether it is a corporate gift to purchase updated high school textbooks or a holiday toy drive sponsored by a benevolent organization, these friends make a direct and lasting impact in the lives of some of Los Angeles’ most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

Leader's Circle Highlight:
Elliott Broidy & Robin Broidy
Aviva Family and Children’s Services is grateful for the longtime support of power couple Elliott Broidy and Robin Broidy. Entrepreneur, business leader, father and philanthropist, Elliott is a benefactor and proud supporter of nearly a dozen charitable and community organizations locally, nationally and internationally. Aviva has been privileged to have him serve on Aviva’s Council of Guardians for almost a decade. As one of our leading benefactors, he has assisted Aviva in achieving its mission of providing a comprehensive range of therapeutic and educational programs to the at-risk children and adolescents in the Los Angeles community.
In addition to his service, Elliott is a constant supporter of his wife Robin, who has served on Aviva’s Board for over ten years. Robin has demonstrated exemplary leadership in several different roles, serving as Chair, Vice-Chair of Resource and Board Development, and Gala Chair for our exclusive annual fundraising event. She also co-founded Aviva’s Platinum Associates, a prominent group of women who directly impact the at-risk teen girls of Aviva’s residential and high school program, and she was a trailblazer for our $6.6 million dollar capital campaign in 1998.
Together, Elliott Broidy and Robin Broidy have made a profound impact on Aviva and the services we provide throughout all of Los Angeles County. We are thankful to both for their years of support and leadership. Their unwavering service, philanthropy, and commitment to civic duty have greatly influenced Aviva and the at-risk children and teens that we serve. These remarkable individuals share a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others through philanthropy.
