9th Annual Platinum Luncheon 
Under Aviva’s Board Vice Chair, Susan Casden’s leadership, the 9th Annual Platinum Luncheon was a beautiful success. On November 14, more than 140 women had an exclusive opportunity to view Carolina Herrera’s elegant 2012 Spring Collection at the Beverly Hills Hotel. During the luncheon, guests heard from Aviva High School graduate, Ronesha Williams, who courageously shared her story. Aviva applauds Saks Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills for sponsoring the past four luncheons. We also thank Yifat Oren and Associates for contributing their event planning expertise.

The Platinum Associates is a group of strong, dynamic women (and a few great men!) who make a difference through their personal financial support, by raising funds, increasing public awareness of Aviva’s programs in the community. Often members underwrite a holiday party, cultural event or outing for the girls.
Members of the Platinum Associates have a direct impact on the lives of adolescent youth in Aviva’s programs. Every fall members are invited to a fabulous luncheon featuring the fashions of a well-known designer. At the luncheon members and guests are invited to join or renew their participation with a minimum gift of $1,000. Throughout the year, members are invited to additional special events.
As an auxiliary group for Aviva, the Platinum Associates assist in accomplishing our mission. They actively care about the plight and well-being of Los Angeles County’s most needy and neglected children. Aviva is grateful for the support of our programs made possible through the Platinum Associates’ membership and participation.
